Sapphire and Diamond Art Deco Style Engagement Ring
Custom made 18ct yellow gold and platinum octagonal halo diamond and sapphire ring. Designed specially for Mark and Courtney.
The Center Stone
The center stone is a lovely round sapphire from Queensland. It weighs 1.50cts and is a brilliant cut.
The Metal
This ring is made in two tone, platinum and 18ct yellow gold. The claws are made in yellow gold to enhance the colour of the central sapphire. The octagonal halo is made in platinum and the band is made in 18ct yellow gold
Setting Styles
The center sapphire is set with eight rounded claws. The halo of diamonds are pave set in an octagonal frame enhancing the art deco look. At north and south under the main halo setting, sits two round diamonds that are bezel set. Finally the sapphire baguettes are channel set into the shoulders of the ring.

All gemstones in this ring are heirloom gemstones. The diamonds in the halo are slightly different sizes, the octagonal halo disguises the size difference.
The wedding band for this engagement ring is a fitted band, to match the outer shape of the halo.
