Our Manufacturing Processes

Handmade - Applying the same methods used over 100 years ago. Making jewellery by hand hasn’t changed all that much, other than electricity to power a hand drill and use of the modern gas and an oxy torch. We hammer, mill, bend cut and file bars of gold into pieces of jewellery.

Wax carving - This method wax is carved and filed into whatever shape we need, then cast in the metal followed by filing and polishing to perfection by hand. This method is best used for signet rings.

CAD - Computer aided design is the future of the jewellery industry as it is many other industries. This process uses computer technology to perfectly draw up a design in a digital 3D render. It is then printed in a Perspex type of material in two or three pieces, that is then used as the model to be cast in solid metal. From here the pieces are filed and polished then assembled and soldered by hand.
